Domestic heating oil per litre
Domestic LPG per litre
Domestic Gas per ?
Electricity per kw/h
Wood per 1000kg

Ps i have i feeling the uk is very expensive.

Gas is abouts € 0,65 per m³
Electricity: € 0,22 per kWh
Wood (birch) € 120 per 2m³/h

Gas we mine (good englinsh) ourselves, so cheaper than buying it from russia or such..
Wood depends on what kind, how much and where you buy it..
these prices I've got from the interwebz

Poland:
95 octane/diesel for today at 5,60 PLN per litre/ about 1,34 EUR, or 5,18 GBP per UK gallon.
car LPG at 2,44 PLN/0,58 EUR per litre, or 2,25 GPB per UK gallon,
which is why LPG is king around here, around 12% of cars in Poland use LPG and there are many, many stations ;)
However the actual average monthly net pay is around 2000 PLN (although officially more like 2500) which makes fuel rather expensive.

I think your converting to US gallons! Not that we use gallons much here now, but our (UK/imperial) gallons are 4.54 litres. The americans, for some reason, only have 3.78 'liters' to their gallons. So much for everything in the states being bigger and better!

Nope, I know what a UK gallon is and that would be the price ;) I thought it was still in use because you measure fuel consumption in miles per gallon?

Don't even start me on this country's attitude towards metrication! We are _so_ inconsistent...

But if a litre of 95octane is 1.34€, then a gallon is £6.08 (1.34 x 4.54),
and if a litre of lpg is 0.58€, then a gallon is £2.63 (0.58 x 4.54),
so something isn't quite right somewhere.
Oh well it doesn't really matter:

I suppose it may have something to do with exchange rates and economy ;) I calculated PLN to EUR and PLN to GBP, while you did EUR to GBP.
Edit: Now I see that you used the price in EURO multiplied by a 4,54 to get POUNDS, that's not quite right, is it? ;)

5,60 PLN / 4,93 (current exchange rate) is around 113,6 p per litre of unleaded (or 49,5 p or LPG). But a monthly net wage of 2000/2500 PLN is just about 400/500 pounds and quite many people have to live on that or less, so fuel which would seem significantly cheaper than in the UK is relatively rather expensive.
