"It is a rare thing to see a really good wheel design. ...used in the 1950s... In mass production, though, the only place to see an utterly pure and thoroughly engineered wheel of modest cost was on a DS or 2CV Citroën." L.J.K.Setright (Drive On!) Keep your originals...

Sam, in that case, did you forget about a prime contender in the 'hideousness' stakes? samfieldhouse wrote: Sean wrote: samfieldhouse wrote: But what are they all? hideous? Yeah I haven't posted all the decent ones because I know what they are

 Re: Fun with rims
I want minilites on my 2cv when it's had all the bodywork done.

 Re: Fun with rims
If 2CVs had 4 stud wheel rims instead of 3 stud... Or if the minimum width of tyre for a 5.5J rim wasn't 165mm... Or if you didn't need to put a gas torch on the steering arms to bend them away from rims with an incorrect offset... À chacun son goût, as they say in 'alifax. Re: Fun with rims
They can say what they want in Halifax, I'm not buying *those* minilites! 7" or 8"x13" compomotive or superlites are the way to go. It means converting to four stud and heavily modified steering components all the same though, ultimately they look an improvement over what I have now unlike those Halifax things.
