No we ordered a full set of stainless steel bumper for a 2cv customer on salty Jersey and hit with heavy taxes despite Harrington giving us a favorable invoice

Not that I was aware of. We agreed the cost by email which just included manufacture and delivery as far as I'm aware. No seperate amounts for any import tax or customs duty were shown. Vat was included though. I paid by cheque to their UK office and a few weeks later the covers were delivered!

Those were the ones. I was trying to figure out the other covers etc but I think the AZU seating is more basic than usual. Is that right?
Anyway, I have placed the order :P

I think that is the last purchase for the van for a while. A good clean up, put the company logos on the side and get on with my new roof rack project (have to save up for the bottle of gas for the welder - €338 for a 2.4 m3 bottle..... :o But at least I have found a supplier :)

On a slightly unrelated topic but still to do with seats:

Does the white material stranded mesh stuff on the inside of standard 2cv6 seat covers play any part in the functioning of the seats...? If not, I may resort to cutting them out with some scissors...
