Not happy in getting my posts removed by Mr Viking. There was nothing offensive in my post in "axle bolts". Mr Viking has certainly written worse. Poacher turned game keeper me thinks.

...or if that was offensive maybe the recent suspension thread should be "tidied up".

Personally, without meaning to offend anyone, I think there have been some very sensible things said in both threads, and with quite a lot of restraint and patience.

ive read the suspension thread so many times, and it annoys me people keep telling me to read it :|

I HAVE!!! so many times, and every single post in the topic, and im simply asking because i dont understand or its not quite clear as i find wording difficult, why is that such a problem... and why do people have to fire at me for it, i cant help finding wording difficult :| and another problem, its so easy when writing a post, to simply add in another question rather than trawl through pages to find it, can russ or another mod, edit it so all the relevant posts are in the initial post, as if irrc russ contuines the helpfulness a few pages later,
and assuming that im "finding problems" so i can fix them. :| why would i do that?
i dont know how other people view it, yes im not the most intelegant person when it comes to reading and wording hence the trouble i have understanding some posts, but i feel sometimes people attack me, not particulay fair as i genuinly struggle with wording etc
rant over

right off i go, now ive said my bit

(nothing against you louise im just saying!)

That's fair enough James but as much as I think people are getting fustrated by some of your questions just as you are frustrated by getting stuck... my point was what 602 said was very similar to the posts in other threads yet those weren't "dealt with" in the same way, which seems unfair to 602.

I include you in the "patience" bit because you obviously know what people are getting at with some of the answers like "read it" or "you've answered your question".

From the start you have taken jibes about your spelling with good humour and I think that's probably why some people (including myself) have made comment with (as TooMany2cv's would put) a "wink" smiley implied. Sorry if I got that wrong and rather than having a laugh or poking a bit of fun, I've made you feel like I was just being rude at any point.

The trouble is I am getting bored of seeing/writing "no offence" all over threads; we used to get on just fine without it!

As for your questions, the only thing I'd suggest is maybe ask one question and go away with the answer and try it out. You seem to mull over things and come up with every possible scenario/problem before its happened; a lot of the people answering have done these jobs loads of times and will have given the you easiest and most likey scenario,
so roll with it. Try it out and get back to us (or rather them, as I'm no expert!) if it doesn't work. I agree being prepared is a good idea but I think you should have a bit more faith that it will be straight forward. If you have to wait for parts on order, ask questions after they've arrived, you might find once you've seen them "in the metal" all your uncertainties have gone anyway.

And just so you know, you're quite welcome to quote my 'advice' and type "piss off love, it's none of your business" underneath it and I won't be offended... because life's too short! :D

Look louise, piss of love ;)

no we all take a joke, and i know when people joke most of the time and all, and i take joke with the spelling, as its funny!
The mulling over the loom busines whoch you where involved with, i was a work boored so couldnt do te loom just talk aboit it  so yes i fo have not enough faith, simply cos in my life so far ive been shot down so many times, not all to do with mechanics, infact never mechanical talk, but y'kna it doesnt help

i didnt see what 602 wrote so i cant comment on that,
but wth respect to the people telling me to reathings again, ive read it, understand that..

Also how easy is it to waffle bollocks while you wait for a part?? To easy! And asking about every scenario, same again, i dobt knoe why, but i always think of every scenario, and the worst case, just incase, and then hen the problem comes, two fingers to it! I personally think thats easier than getting into the un exspected scenario and have to wait a while for the answer, i know most people on here have touched fixed and been in every sotuation with the 2cv, i havent as yet!
Anyway continue the gags about apelling
back to friendly mode ;)
