Re: Hello! Virgin 2CV owner here
Welcome to the forum Justin, I must admit I've always had a soft spot for the Yellow & Black Charleston model 2cv

If you are planning on a spot of restoration well worth taking your time and making a thorough job of it as these models are sought after.

Matt, are there any cars that aren't rare and sought after? Lol!
I absolutely love that picture, btw.

I absolutely love that picture, btw. Yes certainly.... but no one really gives a monkey's about them until that is they have all but disappeared, then someone says for example...Oooh Ford Cortina's aren't they cool. Look at all the hype that MK3 Cortina's went through when Life on Mars screened on Telly. Anyone with a bronze one was in the money straight away. Prior to that tho no one really cared about them save for a few die hard blue oval nuts who wouldn't dream of driving anything else (bit like us I guess). Anyway black n yellow Charlies, blue n cream D*lly's, Red n grey and Grey n cream D*lly's will always be worth a bit more to a collector due to their rarity. Whereas a red special will not cos its much more common. It was a standing joke in the 90's that if you did commit a bank robbery do it on the Saturday of the 2CV international in a Red Spesh and hide out in field with all the other identical cars.

Re: Hello! Virgin 2CV owner here
I think the colour is superb and one of the main reasons I had to have it. Now I see other 2CV's and think "its cool but it's not black and yellow" Now I just have to get that woman feature on the above 2CV and I'll be sorted Justin
