Post Dyane speedo - CONFUSED
I have had 2 Dyanes - this one 1976 and my first 1979. Both had Jaeger speedos and both extactly the same 0 to 130 kph. I have just received my 2CV magazine and in there is a 1977 Dyane with speedo 0 - 140 kph. The thing that confuses me is the line on mine which is 10 is 20 on this one and the 130 is 140. Would this car have a different gear drive for the speedo and WHY the difference. Any ideas :) :)

Seriously, there is no difference in drive, cable or gearing it's just the face, could not detail years or reasons, can assure that they are entirely interchangeable, with 4 Acadianes in my 'parc' I shall now have to examine for differences.....

Roy,
maybe Dyane 4?
Because of different cogs inside the gearbox, the take-off gears for the speedo drive in a 435 box are 3/14 instead of the 602's 4/16.

French Dyane club is always rather good on Dyane differences and is slightly ambiguous after 1977:
