				  Re: In-car Tunes

OK - I've opened the box!! Huge cable included. Audio side of install looks dead easy.
Just a question about power feeds. I'd like to be able to switch the sub on/off with a switch seperate to the head unit. Any advice on how to wire in the power control feed would be ace. Manual suggests using the accesory line of the ignition - but obviously, I'd like to run it without the ignition on!
  Ta!

Probably simplest to connect the remote power on feed to your electric aerial supply as you did your other amp, but put an in-line switch in so you can flick it on and off.

Ok, sounds easy enough then. Will any on/off switch do the job?

Yup just a simple rocker switch or summat should do, positioned in a place of your choice!

Well, I've fitted the sub - still got to attach the wires what make it noisy.
It fits under the rear seat OK untill someone sits on it! So, it's mounted vertically in the boot behing the seat facing into the car. Takes up a bit of boot space, but hey ho never mind.
Sunday should see wiring in completed. umpf umpf umpf
