Got a transfer at work which means moving back to the North East in the next month. I would love to be able to take Donna with me but I need a new mechanic (need some welding done quite urgently!) and a new club.

Very belated thanks for the link, only took 4 months to get moved, settled and to think about servicing the car!!

So are you actually in Durham or County Durham ??

Coincidentally, I moved from Lichfield to the North East about 5 years ago.
Were you in Lichfield for long?
The only other 2CV I recall seeing in Lichfield, apart from my old one, was owned by someone who also had a DS.

chopper602: just outside Durham itself, got in touch with the Billy Nomads but unfortunately my job and its variable and unsociable hours tend to get in the way of coming and saying hi to the locals!

deuchebleu: lived in Lichfield from summer 2009 till I moved the other month. Lovely city, even had a few good pubs! Just no jobs.... There were 2 2cvs in my household (mine, the blue with stars and a green and white D*lly which has lived there for about 15 years they had a bx and a zx in the past too ) there is also a bamboo, a white special and a cream special a red and white D*lly and 2 ds's that I saw regularly.

of course the North East is far superior to other parts of the UK - even the people you meet at work are nice and friendly . . .
