200 mile round trip today to Mr Barbour's for some TLC with my 2cv 4x4. Sun was out and roof off all the way and new souped up engine courtesy of Mr Sparrow was going like a train! I even turned off the ipod just to listen to the sweet sound of the engine!! Had a real struggle holding her back and on 2cv 4 boxes she was screaming a bit.
It was all going so well until I ran out of fuel- twice! - note to self, new engine now only does 98 miles on a tank (very small tank & no gauge) as opposed to over 100 before mods! Luckily I was carrying the spare fuel can in boot !
All in all a good run in the girl, I must get her out more often!
