Sussex 2cv sound good, I spoke to him on the phone a while back and he certainly talks a very good job, likes to do things really well although he did express a reluctance to work on late 2cvs. You've probably seen his green '74 2cv around, I've passed it a few times and it looks very nice.

As much as I'd like to help, I don't have the time to be involved in any more broken a-series cars, what with two of my own and chapmans van needing attention, plus the merc needs some bits and various other complications in my life.

8pm ish tonight Sam? Somewhere in Brighton, although if you want to I'm sure you could meet us at charlottes?

Mark from Just 2cv rang this morning - what a great chap!

Sadly though, he's too busy at the moment but kindly offered to dog out some panels for me.

Any recommendations for further up north in England (Manchester/Cheshire/West Yorkshire areas)?

I've had the sills patched to keep Captain Black on the road, but really want them replaced properly now.

Have no intention of going to 2CV City after their attitude before. Not sure about 2CV Workshop - some of their patching work was good before, some other not so. Cash in hand and seems too dodgy.

Just want a decent, honest job.

Alan Makin in Manchester... Everyone raves about his work, although I've not had anything on our car by him yet. From what I've heard though, he's one of the best...
