From what I've read, there's a growing problem with GRP boat hulks which are being abandoned by their owners, rather than pay the costs of proper disposal... ken. So yeah, exactly what I meant  It's true about the GRP hulks. When boats like my rent's boat were layed down, they had no idea of the structural capabilities, so they just whacked it on.

Re: fibre glass body question. I guess a 2CV body is ill-suited for fibre-glass, there are after all plenty of Lotuses that show you can make cars out of the stuff. Mind you, you could say Chrysler have done it already.
