Collecting firewood for winter with my AMI

I put the nose cover on my 2cv...as it is getting rather cold.

What a lovely little car.

Almost spring time... what a waste of december... no snow and a lot of sun and high temperature...

Cleaned my two Ami-s yesterday...

Did put back a repaired half chevron on the '57s nose.

A nice service. And drove it lots in the sunshine with the roof open. What a great little thing it is.

Is spring time here at last:)

Finally......

Just returned very nice 2CV6 back to my friend. He gave me that to visit 2CV friends, very low mileage example. About 76000km/47000mile on clock. Some years ago, took the other pair of original Michelins out, replaced new ones, still near 4mm thread, perfect for spares...

It was quite an adventure for me, who has all these years keeping to modify about every car I have had. This example is practically standard every way, only tinted windows and nice steering wheel out of originality. And quality sound proofing. Nice experience to drive some hundreds kilometers, feeling how these behaved when they were neas new. Everything works perfect, the owner is known of "over maintaining", result of over 40 years enduro and trial motorcycling, those bikes must be absolytely perfect, to trust them, and same attitude is with 2CV...

Made me to think, when I have had last time even near to standard 2CV or Dyane, that might be a small time at 1993-1994, about then I released me to trying to make some minor and also some major modifications, even with that nice weekend with original one, I think I have no way to own anything non -modified...

Still, enjoyed a lot of this weekend..!
