I bought one for £900 a few years ago. It was a massive pile of shit as it had been used as a chicken shed on a French farm for about a hundred years. Everything was rusty, including the roof. The engine was shagged and the back door had been cut out with an angle grinder. I spent a couple of grand which I didn't have on getting it running and MOT'd, registered it on a UK plate, got half way through converting it to a camper then lost interest and sold it for five hundred quid. So probably the ideal vehicle for you Russ.

Meanwhile, here's one of a number of Kickstarter campaigns that should never have succeeded:

This one doesn't look too bad - and it's the unusual model with a sliding door on both sides.

They are asking €4,000 (£3,200 at today's exchange rate).
