With only 12 months to go until the proposed start date of the 2012 raid there has been no sign of it going ahead? There is a message posted some time ago ( a year) saying it is going ahead but at a year out you would expect some details. Does anyone know what is happening and who is oganising the raid? 2cvdog |

The good news is that Raid Australia is still on. The latest news I have is that the Raid survey will be done at Easter this year by Raid leader Bob Dirks and Tec man David Gries. The sad news is that so called raid leader is not leading anything. Bob do not feed anybody any news believing it is not necessary. Normally the timing of the survey indicate what time of the year the raid is placed but I can not confirm much on this. The only way to obtain news and correct details is to ask Bob Dirks directly or ask here http://www.2cv.com.au/forumdisplay.php/ ... -Australia Like so many others, you may find yourself in a dead end getting no informations, but try. Dates etc have now been announced and we started building an info site. You can find all info at http://www.2cv.com.au/raid/ Dates: 1 May 2012 to 1 June 2012 From the southernmost point in Oz, Tasmania, to the easternmost point in Oz, Byron Bay. |
