 Re: EPB Refurb
Had a spare 2cv crankcase, visa’s are not common here. The VGS barrels and pistons are superb quality parts, each machined from a billet, but expensive…..

 Re: EPB Refurb
That’s a good find, is the clunk the fan or is it internal?

 Re: EPB Refurb
it feels internal. I think the crank has lateral movement.

 Re: EPB Refurb
Wipers Linkage very tired and rusty. One of the spindles seized. Made some new link arms, 5mm 2cv bolts and 5mm rose joints. Spindles come apart, so clean new o rings and spring washers. Attachment:

 Re: EPB Refurb
New spindles are expensive (imported?), bronze bushes, wavy washers and O rings cost approx £20. Refurb can be done in a vice and a few tools…

Windscreen fitting. Should the gaps be covered with tape or left open?? Attachment:

 Re: EPB Refurb
The holes are to let the point welder in, they should be closed with tape to keep water out of the frame. For your bronze bushes in the spindles, it seems some copper water tubes have the perfect size.
