Back to business, let the dreaming go waiting...

Welded 30mm tube to the last clutch disc center. Used gearbox parts for jig to have the tube perfect straight...

Success, it didn't wobble at all on tested speeds...

And about that was speedo reading when cut the engine, speedo shows the last speed when disconnecting engine...

Did run only 4x2 and front wheels removed, to see what happens with new carrier bearing. It worked so well, and I couldn't resist to hit the throttle little bit more, but this is quite anly way to see is there some issues with...

And that was the reason. Again problems with VW -parts, or was that only bad design by me? 2cv joint from Bora, and now it is running about six times faster than original. Maybe it was again my bad...

Not sure, but not more than ten, but all driven very hard, to find possible issues to come. And almost nothing happened in couple of last weeks, due to my health issues and also because school begun with kids...

Not so far about getting it road legal, hope that will happen soon...

Those joints what I have installed, are slightly different gaiters, but same joint. The other is originally from Transporter Syncro prop shaft and the other is from Bora drive shaft. Guess wich one lost its gaiter..?

Ordered a gaiter what shouldnt explode...

Image
If that doesn't break on Transporter, it doesn't break at this solution...

Image
This was the exploded gaiter. Designed to use at drive shaft what rotates only couple thousands RPM, not over 10K as at prop shaft...
