I took Kermit for his first honest dip today, he luved it! I had the suspension wound all the way up, fan off, tarp covering the front of the engine and you can see my makeshift snorkel poking out the side thanks to a length of vacuum cleaner pipe. Given that the car is fuel injected and the relay board is exposed in the engine bay I think it did great! A bit off wheel spin but no missing at all, although a lower ratio 1st gear would be nice. And a creek crossing on the mighty Bloomfield 4x4 track in the Daintree rainforest, with a little bush repair thrown in and fan still engaged... ![]() Any tips and techniques please share! Harley |

Excellent stuff, taking the fan off is good. Have had two occasions where fan has shattered when hitting the water. ps Will finnish the "fan with clutch" someday. |

Nice one Thomas, although I don't think Gert would have been to happy about you using his favourite fish-nets ![]() tfaerch wrote: How about your ingition? Ahh yes, I have 123 which I had already sealed with (a liberal amount of) silicon... Time to find deeper waters... Harley |
