Three more bits of the puzzle done.

Clutch cable (from a Burton/Lomax) fitted and functions.

AK Track rod ends fitted, allows the track rod to fully clear the suspension arm on droop.
Waiting for the shorter AK track rod arms to arrive.

Fitted the pipe and new clamp for the low pressure LDS fluid return to the tank.

Having larger tyres, reduces the turning circle, so I thought, longer studs and a 10mm spacer would improve things.

Now 2cv wheels studs are different (!) they have a 16mm shoulder, so tried to find some with a 16mm shoulder, no luck.

But an enquiry to a firm that makes studs, came back with a Quote of

£11.25p Each! excluding shipping and vat .

Peugeot wheel bolts are the same thread as the 2cv, so bit of work in the lathe and there we go
£2.05p delivered.

Back in the dry and warm garage, but not a lot of space to do work.

Major jobs to be done.

Weld prop shaft Tunnel.
Make an exhaust system.
Weld the rear floors.
Fit fuel tank securely.
Connect up the suspension pump pipes and wiring.
Wiring to make it run.

Solve the brake master cylinder ISSUE????.

Then TEST it :D

Did you already do a high rev test to ypur homemade propshaft between the master and the slave gearbox, otherwise I would do this first, to eleminate disappointment afterwarts......

It is a precision gound, precision machined and precision tig welded item, what can go wrong.....

think about 6000 rpm.. 2 gearboxes which warps both to the opposite side when under torq.. hmmm I would say "everything"...
