Maybe over engineered, but I’m happy..
The pressed steel end cover on the axle tube have never sealed properly.
Had a spare bit of alloy plate which now does the job.

Engine and Gearbox Refitted !.

However the drivers side of the suspension, is softer:(

Either I have got some mismatched springs or the bottom mount of the strut is in the wrong place, perhaps out by 5mm ????.

Will swap the struts over and see what happens.

In addition, there are no shock absorbers(as such)on the front, will see when it eventually drives, as to how "kangaro" it is?.

Will see how much damping is provided by the hydraulic rams.

Then if its bad can either fit normal shock absorbers or I have axle tube that has the lugs for friction dampers.

Progress to-date.

To Do List.
Weld drivers side strut mount.

Get under the car to fasten Prop Shaft Bolts x4, Gearbox mounts x 4, very easy if you can bend:)

Wiring, throttle cable, battery, Air Filter + other bits and then some unforeseen fettling????

Looks nice, keep the wires away from the exhausts.

Are you going to wrap those exhaust, or stay with the shiney look? :)
