Tried out some bits today to see if the concept will fit together.
It will be very tight but I think doable.

it is heavy but with (very) low ratio it isn't a point...


This evening I had an idea about the timedelay in the rideheight adjustment.. So I couldn't resist I had to translate my idea into a programm for the microchip.. and now it works.. just like a height regulator of a BX CX DS aso.

If you power it up it will take a few seconds and then it will react to the actual height. If it is to heigh it will go down and if it is to low it will go up to the givien height of your choise (by switch).. Then it will start over again and when it is more then 5 seconds to low it will rise again.. Well you know the principle I guess....I will make a video in the weekend..

The current mid engine set up is 870 Kgs, which is heavy.

Some of the protos in France with light weight chassis are are about 550 Kgs.

The future plan is to try and make a Tubular Space frame (combined body and chassis)

At the rear I know have put in the standard springs, the struts are used to raise the vehicle from standard height.
At the front I'm considering "Coil Over Springs" to set the standard height so its works like the rear end.

About weight. If I recall correct, you (Pete and Geo) had some betting, and some arguement about it is impossible to keep 4x4 light... So, my 4x4 was "only" 590kg on MOT scale, what surprised but was a goal (to have all seats still, our regulations)...

Weight saving is at first very easy, but after the easy part it is going hard and expensive. Same issue when tuning engine, first HP are easy to have, but after "critical point" next HP's are much harder and cost much more...
