 Re: Make Your Own ....2CV.... 4x4 Have had thoughts about reaming the hole out, but the reamer size I can buy is 4.99mm Thats leaves .01 mm which is still too much for a friction fit with hardened pins

Re: Make Your Own ....2CV.... 4x4 Re-assembled the rear cover with Loctite gasket and then saw the bearing, missing one ball bearing!!! Dismantled it all to check, all the other bearings are OK  The last bearing fits from the outside and is held in place by the oil seal cover. Attachment:

Re: Make Your Own ....2CV.... 4x4 Front Diff(Gearbox) reassembled and ready to refit. HOWEVER! Have found the steering rack has a very nasty "clack" and is also to loose. For me that is a real bummer to get under the car to remove and solve issue and refit, but the weather is good at the moment
