About suspension...

No need to use computer, that has a very simple analog electronics, couple of comparators and FET driving coils- Possible to tune the hysteresis, what is needed to avoid oscillating...

Nice to have kids, who have Lego's. Well, the structure isn't really solid, what makes some hickups at some situations, but it works. What I try to say with this, is you don't need to think that too complicated, in real world there is no need to use computer to control the ride height. It is only needed when there is more sensors andpossibility to change suspension stiffness (like with Hydractive). Have the "KISS" -method with desinging...

@Jasu,
Like the Breadboard prototype, clever.
At the moment also using the Kiss system.
Waterproof micro switch with LED, raise the suspension until the LED goes out.

Oh, thats very reliable solution, and with an offroad car isn't really need for automatic height correction I think. My weird mind started to think what you gonna make next, and some steps forward, and I saw "the only way you going to go" is to use hydraulic valves, just like when Citroen started to make hydraulics...

Back to basics, and with those hydraulic systems, they hadn't nearly any problems until they invented the anti-sink -system, and after that jamming height correctors was the new issue with...

For "weird mind" I would say "Curious mind" :)

Saw a 2cv off-roader in France using parts from a GS, he could raise and lower the suspension, very clever but "SO" many pipes and valves.

Then I got some info the C5 system, all the anti-sink valves and dump valves etc in the pump and only 4 solenoids :D

Front Diff ready to fit to car.

Many thanks to Rick (Gearbox Guru) for his expertise in the setting-up the Pinion Gear/Crown Wheel.

Did I say, electronics can be quite simple for self-levelling suspension..?

There is three channels, able to alter hysteresis, some derivator on measured signal and strong enough FET-drivers. Cost, less than £10...
