I meet some of you at the Winchester meeting in the summer and just wanted to extend the invitation to all of you 4x4 2CV owners to the event that the Shire Land Rover Club is having in Wales on the 18th and 19 of June.

Its at the Seven Sisters site http://www.shirelrc.com/7s/summer/index.html

The site is 1700 acres of playable area!!


Price is £90 for the weekend plus camping fees. Please book via the linked website above.

I think it would be really a huge amount of fun to get a load of 4x4 2CV's there as I have been going on about you lot since we went greenlaning in the summer last year!
I would love to see you show some of the more narrow minded 4x4 drivers how to drive! :lol:

Where is it?
Seven Sisters, South Wales
Nearest town - Abercaf
170 miles from Southampton
40 miles from Cardiff
185 miles from London

Activities
Greenlane style driving
Rock Crawling
Mud and water
Maxi trial
Informal punch challenge
Off-site camping and BBQ facilities

Facilites
No on-site facilities except basic loos. Tea, coffee and soft drinks will be on sale on during the day. The site will be locked out of hours and there will be no camping within the Seven Sisters site itself.

Booking
Pre-book only, no turning up at the gate - you will be turned away!

Prices
Tickets from £90 per vehicle
Camping from £7 pppn

Vehicles
Any MOT’d and insured vehicle is permitted
Front and rear recovery points compulsory
A working mobile phone per vehicle is compulsory
Off-road tyres highly recommended
GPS and CB Radio strongly recommended
All current SLRC Rules will be enforced

Who can come?
Summer Sisters is open to everyone, Weekend Shire Club membership is included in the ticket price. Families welcome, but bear in mind the minimal facilities on site. Sorry, no spectators.

Camping
Camping is at the nearby Dan Yr Gorf Caves campsite, arrival at camp is from Friday afternoon onwards. The campsite has showers, toilets, and washing facilities. Dogs on leads are permitted.
