looking good!!

now i have an off topic question for you,
your sahara look alike, whats it like with two 602's in, and was it fair easy to get the bits to make it a sahara (just curios!)

well it isn"t faster at topspeed, but it is faster getting there. I can drive it with only the back engine and it drive like a VW beetle (I have never driven one, but it is very bad driving). At the highway with two engines it sounds like an old WW11 bomber airplane, 2 engines in cadence???

You can drive it only with soundbariers on and you get toasted inside the car even in winter....

and you can really drifting around corners..

on 1 engine topspeed is about 80kmh so almost unduable. It is very good in sand, but on rocks it is possible that the front engine revs and the back engine is starving. But I managed several times to win trails from Defenders; Toyo Cruisers, BJ's and off corse MB G(ay) wagon's. I've been two times county trail winner with it so it isnt'n bad at all.......
Got some foto's from it with cups which I won.. got to dig them out and make another topic..

Almost finished........NOT

In the weekend I put it outdoor face to face with a "normal"2cv then you can really see the difference, at this foto it looks almost original but it is far from that...........

Today I chopped and welded 1 door as you can see.Chopped out 10cm so it almost lookes like an Dagonet only my sills are about 55cm from the ground.

Yes Yes Yes, next is the Roof chop!!!

A Photoshop i did a while ago of the Dagonet dimensions.
- Sectioned 10cm through the middle
- Tilt the front windscreen 12degrees, which lowers the roof line 8cm
- Move the B-pillar 5cm to the rear

Only two more modifications for you to do ;)

I'm sorry Harley it is not going to happen!! It is lot's of work doing this conversion already, besides I know myself: probably first time out off road, and it's going on it's side or I'll park it against a big tree or something, that is not a good idea when you invest many hours of labour and then doing foolish things................... besides the overall height it has now is exactly what I want.

It is also not a good idea driving lets say side to side to a Toyota Hilux which is 3 foot higher then my car is..........

This was in Austria, we (Mark superfin 4x4 and I) had big fun driving up the steep slope at the camp (between the different campgrounds) and after that some 4x2 guys tried to do the same and couldn't ( they only f#cked up the hole grass at the slope).
Then a Policeman came :evil: and asked if I just wanted to try to drive up the steep slope so I said to him;
Dear Policeman I don't need to try with this car I just do it. :D

Luckely the policeman went of then............ and we had a good laugh

I think you should cut your wings more like this, or move where the wing comes down further forward, as with it being so high it doesn't look right. :)
