That is very clever thinking. Well done getting out of trouble being stranded on the road. You can come raiding with us any time no worries.
Glad you got home, see you some other time

Cheers
Viking

That's a very unusual 'injury'. But don't worry, you can always rely on the french to be helpful....

Well I'm still in doubt about the airsprings these are comming from a big Ford suburban or something like that but they are way to big (my opinion) 180 mm
diameter infront and 150 mm rear + the stroke is to small only 3 inch so I am not going to use them.... 100 euro and they are yours.

There are 2 optionsleft:
using cilinders like crazy belg car diameter 100mm stroke 5 inch or
airshocks http://www.ridetech.com/store/index.php ... ct_id=7547

I think it is going to be the cilinders diameter 100mm both front and rear fixed at 1 point at the chassis and then a long pushrod.

BTW. At the moment I'm out of order , a car pushed me from the road going to my work on my bicycle.......... :? :? :? :?
It wasn't my fault but on a bike your'e always screwed..... :( :( :(

I gave crazy Belge a pm. the day before yesterday, he p.m.-med :?: me back that he will look if they are still available and at which price....... otherwise it will be the ones you mentioned..... They have also 3.5 inch with 13 inch stroke
but I think they are not strong enough.... Are you interested too in in airsuspension in your'e monster....... will be great fun...

I think if "we" fit cylinders we have to fit expanding tanks too because the cylinders are to small the airpressure will be to high so the suspension will be to hard. Something like this

Bit more progress.....

Inverted Spring and Shocks. Better ground clearance but the C of G raised a bit.
Tried inverting the rear arms (swapped over L->R and R->L), but drive-shaft fouls the arm.
So I have fabricated my own mounts, with the arms the correct way up.
For the moment have left the brackets for the standard suspension in place.

Future Upgrade to allow height adjusment.
Annotation shows room for either Air or Hydraulic suspension??
However "Air suspension" with mud and water may not be a good mix.
