RIP... That rather wonderful site up in North Yorkshire, where we've got through so much time, money, sweat, blood, fuel and gearbox casings has closed. It looks like there's some fishy circumstances, too. For 2008, the Forestry Commission insisted on the Extreme course we used being changed, to allow the ground to recover. For some reason, the tracks used instead were actually public rights-of-way. Which, of course, suffered badly. So the FC had a little word in the shell-like of the chap who ran it. Who promptly, it appears, threw his toys. http://forum.difflock.com/viewtopic.php?t=35251 http://www.lro.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=28283 |
