Re: EPB Refurb Dish washers do not remove as much as you would think. I must be using the wrong tablets

Re: EPB Refurb Maybe spray it with oven cleaner first??? A friend did use the dishwasher too and then took the whole engine in the bath tub for cleaning and than his parents came home from holliday....

Re: EPB Refurb The steering Rack Saga. Rebuilt Steering Rack with added grease nipples, fitted to the chassis all OK. Came to fit the body and found the hole for the steering pinion, incorrect, hole altered accordingly. Fitted the steering column and found the its alignment was not correct, even with a spacer under the speedo housing. Solution… rummage in the shed, found a GS column, with UJ’s. Cut, weld and refit, The bolt is in the post. I think the rack was from a AMI, ideas welcome. See photos Attachment:

Re: EPB Refurb Yes, Mehari, Ami8 and AmiSuper had UJ and Ami has different angle of the steering worm gear. Not sure about Mehari about the angle...
Another funny detail, RHD axle tube is made from LHD tube, cutting, re-arrange and welding back together. LHD tube is one solid piece...
