Thanks for the info, Bushes on their way now, but will rummage through to plumbing box, for the next set of spindles. However the bronze are oil sintered so will outlast me. Cheers Peter

Older spindles are much better than later, and easier to service. And on some late spindle, there isn't any bronze bushing, only drilled hole for shaft...
Those linkages are near overkill, but on good way.like them...

Could have used M4 rose joints, but they are more expensive, they are used on RC planes etc..

That's coming along nicely Pete.  I like the idea of the light conversion.  Can you still see the lights from anywhere that is not directly behind?

Bulbs being a point source are the best option. the LED replacments are expensive. The LED arrays are brigher and the Fresel Lens cover does its job. See photo Attachment:

Can somebody post some pictures of the Rear Door….rubber door seal/metal strip, rivets, nylon and plastic. Have the parts but what goes on the door and what goes on the pillar??? Thanks in advance..

Cool  Though have to say I really liked the purple... then realised it was the lifting harness!!
