 Car sits level, excellent ground clearance, drive-shaft angles, not extreme (see rear left of picture.) Front end doesn't hit the bumps stops, with me on the front bumper, will try with 2 people.

Re: Make Your Own ....2CV.... 4x4 Using the shock mounts to guess at the length of the knife-edge mounts, has had the following result. twisted/bent mounts  Attachment:

However with the revised longer mounts, the suspension should now be less soft and progressive.. Attachment:

if any one wants to convert 2CV to Ak type front knife edges i got them
as we use a lot of them for the 4x4 when fitting A K springs
i normally fit them up with a special jig to ensure they are fitted in the correct position in relation to the inside of the arm
when i get round to it i will find some fitting pictures on the web
so to make an easy welding job

Re: Make Your Own ....2CV.... 4x4 Today I used "engineering skills" to fine tune my shock absorber mounts.. With a 1.5 m square tube they bend quite easily. Attachment:
