You bloody ripper Pete!
The rear facing arms are an engineering marvel!
It is quite the puzzle to look at. How long until you fit a custom 70litre tank under the hood ;-)

Keep it up!

Still a list of many items to do!!!
The biggest pain at the moment is that the steering does not self centre, thats is a definite FAIL for the IVA test.
I will do all the other many small items and ponder a solution for the steering.

I know you know but just incase - the castor must be not enough. Like to see picture of hub etc without wheel on.

@I know you know but just incase

I also try to reply and not offend ;)

They are based on "gardiner arms" with ball joints.
With the car set to low the castor goes positive!! opposite to a standard set up.
So getting more negative castor is not easy.
I will post some pics.
Feedback welcome

You flipped the frontaxle 180 degrees, now driving backwards the car will selfcenter!!!!
You need to grind the "steeringpart "loose and re-arange" (just like a lowerd arm) maybee when grinding it off put the left part to the right and the right to the left....

As Geo says you need to cut alone the weld (not too deep) to remove the hub end part off the arm. Then turn to get correct amount of castor and re weld. When I lowered my Dyane the hub was rotated but 8mm to get the castor back to the correct spec.
This will explain better than my attempt

Thanks for the info, may need to do some simple arms, as per the info.

Current Castor Angle NOT sufficient.

With your front arms - having the knife point on the top - doesn't it foul the knife point rod on full upward travel? or the rod rub against the tube coming out of the spring tubes???
Never seen backward arms before so interested. also chassis is not strengthed at the very front to have all that pressure etc....
