Seat Mounting.
Planning to use the bottom part of a 2CV seat to mount the home-made seat.

Seat Problems...

The clearance between the door catch and the seat is zero.
Cant make the seat any smaller, (my hips) and needs to be positioned so that the gearbox with cover have sufficient space.

Had a brainwave, to widen the cars shoulders.
With my trusty jack have added 75mm

Gives about 30mm extra by the door catch.

Weight loss won't make your hips any smaller unless you have osteoporosis :)

Couldn't you have cut the catch off, then welded the hinge from you other shell to the front of your rear hinge to make it suicide doors?
Anyway, cool solution as ever! :lol:
