 Re: Gobi project
yes, we build it together. We came from the right were the suzuki is. But the car slit sideways hooked a wheel in the furrow and turned over. I hit my head a the rearview mirror... The door mirror ended up folded in front of the windscreen. Good base Henk. Did you reinforce the chassis? We welded the side plates in as in the citroen brochure Ici commence l'aventure.

Good evening azl57, Nice to meet you in the forum. I admire the sahara lookalike you build with your friend. As in your name i presume you have an azl 57. I drive an 61 AZ. ( AM-50-43) bleue glacier The chassis i use for the Gobi project is also 61 and is still french registered. Underneath the chassis is bad, so i have to repair this and weld reinforcments inside and outsidelike in the brochure. I started working on it last year. First i renovated two engines. Working on the car is not going very fast, because I have to figure out a lot of things and the goal is to build it very low budget.

Ilikitalot! At the moment enjoying my 2 wheel drive sahala lookalike(ish) 2cv. Might install a Quaife diff. Going to make a nice set of bumpers. Did some serious greenlaning in the Ardennes yesterday, and I'm hooked !!!
