Managed to recover from my mistake, everything now lines up and the shaft turns all ok with the bearing clamped-up tightly.

Bearing cover needs to be made tidier.

I admire your skills .
My son often tells me we should make a 4wd out of the 1965 AZ. But i like to keep it as close to original as possible. only a few minor upgrades like a 12 volts system .
I think i will buy a extra 2cv for him, so he can start experimenting with 4wd, lower it and povide some really broad wheels to it. Maybe a BMW motorcycle engine too.

While waiting for the Drive Flange to be wire-cut and the casing to be properly cleaned did some work on the large sprocket and the front panel.

Hi Roger,
Forum very quite still, plenty of "guests?"
How is the project(s) :)

Still waiting on the diff casing to be "genltly" bead blasted, can the assemble the diiff and the last few tweaks. The front chain dive is slowly getting there, after careful planning! only room for a duplex chain, should be robust enough, testing will see???

My project/s have come to a standstill. Spending time at the allotment at the moment. Allotment has an identity crisis at the moment, it thinks it's a lawn!

Working on occupying the lockup garage next to the one I have. Projects may start moving again then. :D

The two in the middle. Forecourts are useful as well.

Unfortunately, there is a four inch height difference in the floors, or I would be considering altering the dividing wall.
