:o thats the problem there are too many "business" raid organisers selling adventure packages

it is indeed quite a circus

A bit late, but better late than never I guess, I'd love to do something like this, as I was tempted by the Touareg right up till I saw the costs. Of course first I'll have to check Le Bon Coin for a decent 2CV in Brittany.

Unfortunately, last years Touareg Trail was the last one to be organized. But it was the hardcore edition: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OJ9CBZfOUY
I also have all the tracks and official roadbook of this edition.

Many thanks for that. Do you know why it was the last raid?
Lovely footage, very similar to Raid Australia. Would you be kind enough to help other raiders by showing us the route (raid book) on the Morocco section.
Cheers

It was the last time, because the organizer decided to do something else.
He is also the one responsible for the Libya Desert Challenge and wants to spend his time on this. Maybe in the future he is organizing a rally in Africa for oldtimers in general.
I have the triplogs, tracks and waypoints of the routes in Marokko. If you want these I can email them to you. The roadbook however is only in paper. Maybe I can get this one in a digital copy.

Thanks very much Nicky, I did receive the file but my computer do not have the software to open them (GPX files) Would these files be available somewhere on the net?

Cheers
