Just bought my first GPS today called Mappy http://en.mappy.com/
When time comes I can rent the map for Morocco for around 8 euros for 30 days. Don't know if the system can cover the tracks we will be on. Being the last car TEC I feel that I need one just in case the cars in front of me dissapears. I normally don't have eye contact with cars in front of me but listen to my CB radio, where to turn.

I have just spoken with my brother who, is a real map and naviagtion freak, he has used his Garmin NUVI autonavigation device with GPX file so it is posible to follow the tracks with normal rutenavigation.

Any way even though some Garmin device can, we cant be sure that all sort of device can - but there is a hope for Mappy...

It´s a very good page.
The map they are suggesting (made by an guy from Island) is also the map I am using for the ruteplannning.
And it is from this map, that you will get the daily rute print. So the maps we will use shoul be fairly precise - but still somtimes if you find the very same coordinate on Google Earth then the track is no longer there. But that is only a part of the fun.
