In contrast some Aussie raiders had the benefit of being ''home'' and you should see the amoumnt stuff they put in their cars. Completely unnecessary, some of the 2cv's doĆng raids were driving with the arse on the ground and the bumper point to the sky.

Aussie bashing is always good fun though, to be fair I should point out that this photo originates from 1988 the first raid australia. This photo is regularly used as a bad example is hardly representative of current 2cv raids.

Ok since it's a bit like question hour now, how often do you have the chance to wash? For how many days should you pack clothes?

I would' say that we at least visit an officiel camp evert third day, that means at least enough water for washing but I can't guarante that there will be a laundry machine and if you bring water for it you can always wash at least underwear at a wild camp.

went 10 days without facilities wasn't a problem its nice to have a flannel down now and again took a washing up bowl good for rinsing air filters and the occasional sponge bath

we were recomended to carry 10l can of water for using and a 2l sealed unit for emergency use only

Don't need a laundry machine, some clean water is enough for a quick wash.
