This is our plan today.
From Brittany to Algeciras roughly 1850 km. If we can do this in 2 days, we will. 925 km per day is a bit much but possible hopefully without break downs.
Anyone from the north or north east is more than welcome to join us.

Any ideas where to meet. I am happy to offer our place near Rennes in France as meeting place. It may be out of the way coming from northen, central or eastern Europe. Maybe several meeting points can be set up around France or Spain. Maybe just rock up at Tarifa ferry terminal? |

My idea was to have the final meeting in Morocco Ceuta (witch is Actually spaniish) People the can arrange indvidually meeting before that... |

When we did the Dakar, the organisers had booked an entire small hotel a shortish drive from Algeciras (Sotogrande, IIRC), with the aim of spending two nights there to meet/drink/chat/fix cars. Ideal - the ferry company sent a rep to the hotel to sell tickets, anybody who'd had problems heading through France & Spain could sort them. |

I can agree on Ceuta! My idea was only a short stop and maybe some travellers has taken another ferry from France or Italy and then we could have the first official meeting there. But your idea about the possibillity to fix car problems buy tickets an so sound like a good idea. |

We talked about the return trip. Algeciras-Madrid 670 km 1. day Madrid-Zaragoza 318 km Zaragoza across the Pyrénées to Toulouse 388 km 2. day Toulouse- Salbris World meeting 495 km. 3. day Total km 1871 km in 3 days. Just to relaxe and look around. Couldn't ''force'' this route on Google Earth. Anyone know how to? |

Attachment: The attachment Return-trip.jpg is no longer available You can make a lot of different rutedirections, Algecerias -Madrid, Madrid Zaragosa and then, in the sidepanel, mark the ones you want showed on the map. For each rute you should fold the hole rute out, unmark all and then only mark the last one saying "rute". Othervise you will get a map with rutedirection writen all over.
