It depends which electronic ignition. I don't think there is any problem with Luminition, since all the electronics are mounted on the firewall, above the height of the battery. On the otherhand, 123 ignition can be a problem if it is not waterproofed. Those photos Viking posted are from Raid Australia 2008. Most people crossed the same rivers successfully. Drive slowly without creating a bow wave that gets too high and floods the points box. Stick some plastic in front of the fan, tucked in on the sides and underneath the engine. Don't stop the engine after you have crossed the river, keep it running. Daffy Duck |

Yesterday i saw the chassis and some other parts for my future raid 2cv. Some of you have seen the place during the last poronkusema. Heka is the guy and he has the funny coupe 2cv. He had done some pots for me allready and engine. He had nice axels for the Ami 8 chassis and new Monroes! Some other parts too. Soon i will only need the body and wiring... About in 8 years... |

Hi there This is my first post here. I hope I make a good entry with this: In 2008 I participated in Touareg-Trail. Without any knowledge about 2CV's, my friend and I bought a truly worthless car. But we worked hard. Click on the links for the results: -explatations (in Dutch) -album (the second link) |
