Post Re: my 2cv raid
hi guys,

I did not forget about te international 2cv friends forum! I just don't log in every time but i look at it every week. It's just that my writing English is very bad so i hesitate a lot to post some. :?

I build my raid 2cv 8 years ago. It's on a reinforced ami 8 chassis with springs of a acadyane and ami8 break. The "ammortiseurs, schokdempers i don't know the english word" are from Gabriël 2cv cross, It also has a "stabilisatorstang" from a ami 8, reinforced steering of a acadyane. It has a tuned visa engine with 43hp and 50NM a roll cage, sparco seats,cb, abs roof,...
This summer i'am going to make the front wings and the hood in epoxy. The rear wings are already in epoxy.
In 2006 I went to Morocco with a friend of mine Marino who is a famous raider here in Belgium. http://picasaweb.google.com/110703353781459239320/RaidMarokko2006# This year in april i went back to Morocco with my wife and two other friends. http://picasaweb.google.com/110703353781459239320/RaidMaroc2010# I don't go with touareg trail because i want to take my time see the country and talk to the people who live there. When you go with Touareg trail there is no time to do that!
Tunesië, Lybië, Albanië, Turkey, ... are also on my list but time and money are two things i don't have a lot ;)

If you wan't to know more about the car or the pictures just let me know!

Hey Geit,

Thanks very much for coming back with some more information & those great pictures! Your English is very good, better than some people who have it as a primary language! ;)

Neil.

Same as Neil said Geit. I wouldn't worry to much about your English. Without people like you we wouldn't be able to call it ''international 2cv friends'' We need more international members. ; )

If you ever struggle writing stuff in English just put bits in Belgian. Someone will tell us what it means. (I hope)

Max.
