Excellent Taf, see you about half 6 tomorrow evening then 8-)

You and your sat-nav can set the pace and hopefully mean I don't get lost

Don't trust the satnav! Kim spent about 2 hours roaming around your neck of the woods yesterday looking for some college after my satnav took her a way she didn't know and then helpfully turned itself off. By the time she rang me up it turned out she was actually less than 2 miles away, but she'd missed her meeting thingy by then anyway!

I've zoomed in on GoogleEarth and found where the track is. I've located it on the Sat-Nav and saved it to favourites(for now), so it should be fine.

Besides which, I didn't get lost finding it last year using a map book (bear in mind I get lost everywhere I go!) so we should be okay :? :D

Racing was good although there was a bit of carnage in the first race involving 3 cars-they were all heavilly damaged but thankfully everybody walked away with nothing more than bruised egos.

I was spannering for Simon Crook who had an uneventful race and brought his car home safely in both races but I'm ashamed to say I don't know where he finished in either! Simon also got the award for best presented car-if you've seen it, you'll know why.

Matt Hollis had problems after the restart in race one and ended up restarting from the back of the grid making his way up from 18th to (I think) 8th by the first corner. As if that wasn't bad enough, the cars were held up in the assembly area for race 2 for what seemed like an eternity and Matts car started to oil it's plugs up-he started from the back of the grid again but once again gained somewhere in the region of 10 places by the first corner-nice one Matt.

In the rest of the news, Martin Hindley didn't seem to have any great dramas this weekend, no spark plugs flying out or sump-plugs dropping out either, Helen Deeley and Christine Thompson played their own game of tig at one point (allowing Simon to gain a position to boot) and Nick Roads seemed to be driving an off roader in this race having replaced his springs since Cadwell but not adjusted the heights correctly yet.

Mike Fox got best improver having not finished last in race 2-a first for them this year I believe?

Oh, the first race was won by Alec Graham and the second race was won by Mark Turner.
