Russell,
have to admit that I went, after being sent a ticket and told to lay off the
welding for the w/e by Tete Rouge Paul.
Actually, he was a lot ruder than that, but I'm glad that I went as it was
a superb event.
Don't forget that Sammy Fritchley became the first woman driver ever to
win a 2CV race.
There was quite a cheer went up along the pit wall when a spark plug blew
out of a certain car's engine and she took the lead...
Well done to Matt for holding his nerve during the longest spell of
tailgating/slipstreaming I've seen for a good while during a race.
No pics as I got roped into a bit of spannering, but those on the Race Club's
site are excellent, as always.

Cool Max!
I wonder if any of our members went to Mallory last weekend for the 20th anniversary of 2cv racing celebrations? Any pics?
(and well done Matt Hollis, who took a win!)
