There was an 'economy' class last year but m not sure there was a huge response to it. A couple of cars raced last year at snetterton but I'm not sure they did many sprints. In Belgium they have a standard class which means bumpers, full length exhausts and all that jazz too. They are proper slow though. |

Yep, the Economy Class still exists, although there weren't any entries this year! It basically allows you to get on the grid with a road car and safety features. Might not exist next year though, would suggest waiting until after the AGM (17th November) to double-check. |

That seems like a good way to go motor racing to me. A mate of mine used to rally an escort back in the 1970s ... I remember him telling me about how he used to drive it back to Wolverhampton from North Wales in the dead of night, sometimes with wheels out of true, headlamps broken or shining in all directions, or once crabbing sideways from having hit a tree on a special stage ... bet you couldn't do that nowadays! |

I believe the Belgian Classic cars have to be road legal before they start the race. Team OuiOui had a CT sticker in the windscreen. |
