No, I believe there's a maximum of 46 cars which will mean 2 cars in every garage.

I wouldn't have thought its a very endurance racing friendly car. Engine swap anybody? The rules say they have to keep the standard bonnet hinges. They're also solid little things that won't move when they're rubbed. I can see a fair bit of damage being dished out by them. I'm also curious as to how they'll last and how the teams will prepare for it. I'm guessing not too many of them have studied how we do things, which would be a start...

Not AFAIK, It will be interesting. I think I'd prefer it more if they tried it out a different weekend to us though.

Actually, as a bunch of people and racing enthusiasts the Mini racing crowd don't seem all that different from us. I hope it works, could be good. I wish I could get there this year, but my band are playing a wedding (which is a thing I absolutely loathe doing) on the Monday afternoon, so I can't get to Snet this time.
