Good days racing, Matt Hollis took both wins, under a lot of pressure from Sammie. Simon had a bad day, unfortunately, losing an engine in qualifying and struggling to stay with the pack in the race on his borrowed engine.
Was interesting to see the new control tyres, and the new weber carbs being used for the first time, generally it seemed there was less grip after a while and driving hard caused the tyres to go off. The Weber carb kit didn't appear (from a spectators point of view) to make any difference. Certainly the two top cars,one running a Weber and one a Solex, were virtualy inseperable.
