BLimey! They have been busy at Snetterton. I was thinking of camping in the big field this year, rather than in the paddock. Best rethink that.

I plan on camping in the exact same spot as last year, this time keeping a close eye on other peoples tents (yes you know who you are!!!)

Many people also have "issues" with the site/event as dogs, cats, rabbits etc are not allowed.

Glad you saw the funny side of that Sam - I was gutted when I heard the news. Hope Russ's insurance company plays ball.

Yes, me too. From the looks of the pictures on the 2CVGB forum, it was lucky there wasn't more damage.

The first thing everybody says when you've stacked a car is 'Ooh, well you were lucky....'

Yeah, lady lucked sure smiled on me Saturday. £120 down in paying the guy with the UNIMOG to HIAB us out and the fella I bought that 350 off to relist it, lost £500s worth of 406 (belonged to the girlfriend), Sams van wrecked, Adrians trailer damaged, Section 59'd for dangerous driving, No AK350 for me, Let Hollis down and didn't make the £175 he'd offered me for some bits, etc etc etc.

No point claiming on the pug, there's a £350 excess on it and it's worth £500, it's market value is probably nothing anyway and by the time they've bent me over and reamed me for next years vastly inflated policy and poked my NCD up my freshly raped poop-chute I'm going to be worse off than just buying Lianne a new £500 car would leave me.

Thank god I didn't have an unlucky day eh?

Who put them there?

Anyway, Snetterton, I'd love to come, sounds like it'll be a great weekend!

You'd be surprised. having seen the aftermath of a couple of similar incidents where there wasn't a handy ditch to bail out into, I'd still say you were lucky. I know it's not much consolation, but it really could have been a lot worse. I'd sooner lose a grand or so than my legs.
