 Re: Snetterton 24 Hour
If it runs as good as it looks, it'll be a winner!

 Re: Snetterton 24 Hour
Chucked the engine into Simons car yesterday, cranked it over for what seemed like an eternity while it built up oil pressure, connected everything up and, vroom! Smokes a bit when it gets warm but then, it is the heads that I rejected for my car because it smoked a bit with them on. Simon just has the job of putting the bodywork back together and cleaning it ( ) and we're ready to roll at Snet then I think.

Hi Sean It was only after I took the picture, I noticed the pit board! wait until you see the fan cowling, after Russell went mad with a can of very expensive paint (will post a picture later)

 Re: Snetterton 24 Hour
If you'd told me it was very expensive I wouldn't have frittered it away on the fan cover and all the tell tale fan blades! Having said that, if we'd done them any other colour it wouldn't have looked half as good. Definately need all the engines grey/mint green next time though. You'll be pleased to know I've got the Tyres on the van and will run it about for a few days to buff them up a bit. The van looks awesome on the black wheels, although what the old man will say when he sees it will probably be less positive...

Russ, he'll be chuffed to bits, you're saving his tyres and therefore, his money too!

 Re: Snetterton 24 Hour
Really will hopefully have the car finished and ready to run by end of play tomorrow-just a few loose ends to sort out and we're done.
