That style of gearchange, without lifting off the throttle, is not music to my ears.
I guess an ignition kill button on the gear lever would fall foul of 2CV Racing Club regs...

I wouldn't risk it myself, one slip with the gear change and you can kiss goodbye to your engine....

That's what I thought, especially going into 4th. But racing drivers can only see the potential 0.000007 of a second advantage.
